After a short while of work as a Prinny, Overlord Laharl was once again restored to his rightful form and position, and everything in the Netherworld started to fall back into place.
...That is, until things started to turn to chaos. Out of nowhere, random blasts of light struck the Netherworld, turning everything onto its ear in terms of the madness that ensued. The bursts of light had struck the castles of some of the most powerful Demons, and they simply ceased to exist.
One of these was aimed at the Overlord's Castle, but it was easily turned aside by the Overlord. Now, Overlord Laharl, suspicious of Celestia's involvement in the attacks, sets out to figure out just what's going on.
However, unknown to the Overlord, many monsters have begun appearing in areas unexpected, terrorizing the people of the Netherworld and adding to the chaos...
