Welcome to Small Town, KS!
This is the story of the fictional town of Small Town, KS. It is located several miles outside of Wichita and that is considered the 'big city'. Small Town has a population of about oh, 800 or so and most of them are teen agers and young adults trying to get out. The mayor of the town is desperately trying to bring life back into this quaint and picturesque village, but it's nearly impossible since no one even seems to know it exists. The city council even put in a small local college and offered up all sorts of scholarships. Unfortunately it just made the kids feel even more trapped. However some have stuck around and are taking what they can get. There are those who are struggling to be free of this godforsaken town (their words), those who just want to have a life, and those who genuinely love where they are. Once ever ten years (or so it seems) the town gets some fresh blood and a new family moves in. So the question remains who are you? Are you a lifer, an escapee come back to make good on a promise, an attempted escapee, or some sap who got suckered into moving because their parents forced them into it? Come to Small Town, KS and see if you can put us on the map or are you just not that good?
